Pitching & Hitting Instruction

Individual pitching instruction sessions are hosted by David Osinski, M.A. of the American Baseball Foundation

Founded in 1994 the American Baseball Foundation (ABF) serves the community through its educational programs that reach out to youth. The ABF's individual instructional program focuses on proper technique that is age appropriate. Throwing, pitching and hitting instruction take place each evening at the ASMI laboratory located at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. The ASMI laboratory is an indoor facility equiped with both youth and adult pitching mounds, pitching machines, and batting cages. Instruction is based on biomechanical principles established through ASMI research.  The ABF builds self confidence that increases during the productive years of  the baseball players careers.

The American Baseball Foundation can help athletes improve their throwing, pitching, and hitting mechanics.  The ABF teaches new pitches, works on eliminating hitting flaws, and introduces the proper mental approach to pitching and hitting. By working on these with the ABF, you will optimize your performance potential.
