Individual, group and team programs available

Programs Include:

Speed and Agility Training
Our program will train you to get the edge you need in competition. Our goal is to help you improve performance in your sport(s). Our sessions are designed to help you run faster, improve your vertical jump and power, and increase your lower and upper body strength with functional and core training.

 

Sports Performance Training
Our program will evaluate you in aspects of sports performance, flexibility and strength. We will also screen you for pre-disposing factors to potential injury and decreased performance. These are the same tests we give college and professional athletes for evaluation purposes. Your results will be analyzed, and you will have a follow-up session with one of our Sports Performance experts.

Tests include:

o    Speed (40 and 10 yard dash with "Speed Trap II Laser Timer")

o    Agility (Pro-agility, 5-10-5 )

o    Power (Vertical Jump with "Just Jump Mat")

o    Orthopedic flexibility and strength assessment

o    Lean body mass ( BMI )

o    Body Weight and Height

o    Pre-disposition to injury screening

o    Upper body muscle endurance

 

Strength, Conditioning, Speed Camps and Combines:

o    Programs based on your team's needs

o    Education for your players and coaches

o    Functional core training and Olympic lifts

o    Dynamic flexibility

o    Sports nutrition education

The Female Athlete: Improved Performance and Knee Injury Prevention
Rationale: Research shows that girls sustain knee injuries about 5 times more often than boys. This program will teach your athletes how to increase their speed, agility and explosiveness and decrease the chance of injury.

This program will provide:

o    Interactive instruction on proper jumping and landing techniques

o    Education on strength and core training

o    Sports nutrition information

o    Training to get stronger without getting "too big"

o    Information about the "Female Triad" and its affect on your performance

o    Dynamic flexibility exercises

o    A written plan for your off-season training

 

Baseball Pitcher Conditioning and Video Analysis
Rationale: Elbow and shoulder injuries are increasing every year in youth and high school baseball. We can help your pitchers increase velocity, improve control and reduce the chance of injury. This program is offered in collaboration with the American Sports Medicine Institute ( ASMI ) and the American Baseball Foundation (ABF).

o    Video Analysis (individual or small group)

o    Baseball Specific Strength Training (individual or small group)

o    Proper Pitching Mechanics Instruction (individual or small group)

 

Professional Development Programs

A great program for coaches, athletic associations, and elite teams in the area to learn more about proper running technique and principles of speed and agility! This course will give you a better understanding about proper strengthening, speed, and agility techniques, and general principles of strength and conditioning.

 

Functional Movement Screening (Functionalscreening.com)

An injury prevention screening developed by Gray Cook that is a great predictor of “at risk” employees. This screening highlights areas of weaknesses and provides strategies for improving function with specific exercises. It is a great tool for any athlete or professional, especially those in the fire and police departments or an industrial setting.
