  • What is a biomechanical pitching evaluation?

     

  • Who can get a biomechanical pitching evaluation?
    • Any pitcher at any level can receive a biomechanical evaluation.

     

  • How far in advance do I need to book an appointment/ Is there a long wait list?

    • ASMI is very accommodating to short notice and we can usually work with your schedule. There is no waiting list, and we can analyze more than one pitcher in a day.

 

  • How much does a biomechanical evaluation cost?

    • Prices for evaluations vary depending on what you seek from your visit to ASMI. Often a biomechanical evaluation is packaged with strength & conditioning sessions, individual pitching instruction, or visits with medical doctors.   • Is ASMI open on the weekends?

    • Sorry for the inconvenience but ASMI is not open on the weekends.

     

  • What do I need to bring?

    • Pitchers will need to wear tennis shoes (preferably turf shoes), socks that cover the ankle, and spandex shorts. If you don't have spandex shorts, ASMI has some for you to use. Don't forget to bring your glove.

     

  • How long does an evaluation typically take?

    • The evaluation will last approximately and hour to an hour and a half.

 

  • Does ASMI do biomechanical evaluations on any other motions besides baseball pitching? Any other sports?

    • Yes, ASMI has and still does evaluate baseball batting, golf, volleyball, tennis, and running mechanics (among others)

  • Can I use the info on your website in a presentation I’m going to give?  (pictures, high speed video clip, Thrower’s Ten program, etc.)
